But alot of the other players have had a dip in form and should be solid League 1 players
e.g.
Elphick, Cox, Navarro, Hart etc
Worked there for a couple of months two years ago. Great people, shit city. Communist President raped the country for years. Bizarre palace, very impressive approach to palace, not much else. Don't try and drive there. It's like London in rush hour without the M25. Best go into the countryside
What a shame. Liked RS alot. What a terrible cut throat business football is.
Thank you for last year Russ, and thanks for leaving us alot stronger than you found us.
I liked Coppell, but remember how boring we we were in League 1 with him as manager.
Could have been OGH or McNulty (if he'd played a few more games) but looking down that list, I surprise myself to say Virgo. Swindon was a fantasic moment. Virgs has played everywhere for this club, including right wing. HE IS A CENTRE BACK.
Took a mate to the game yesterday who is a West Ham supporter. He couldn't believe Murray's attitude at the final whistle. The fact that he walked towards the goal and instead of acknowledging the fans, had a word withLewis Price made his action that much more of a "f!!! You!!!" statement...
Murray ignored the fans at Swansea and walked off which was bad. Today was much worse. The rest of the team were in a a huddle with RS, Murray walked towords the Brighton fans smiling at lewis price, their goalie, he sm
poke to him and then blanked the fans as he walked off. We were singing his...
I went to both games. We lost on Saturday because Andy Whing made a mistake. Fair enough, he was our player of the year last term, he's allowed to make a mistake. We list on Tuesday night because Swansea were bloody brilliant. Best football I've seen played against us for years.
We will get...
Dicker & Navarro
We must build the midfield around the width of Wright And Cox.
The brightest moments of the opening 2 games have come thru getting the ball out swiftly and positively to the wings. Swansea should have taught us that we are far to slow in our attacking play. Dicker is tidy and...
Don't be too harsh on the boys. Swansea are playing a style of football that we just aren't used to. Also, their right winger is brilliant. Ireckenwe will lose about 3-0 but this is agood workout against a good time.
I remember the pubs next to the ground being "Brentford only" and missing out on having a pint. A pint or two would have helped because we always seem to lose 4 - 0.
So which pub do we think then?
I finished series 5 a couple of months ago and went straight into Generation Kill. It will help you.
And Ziggy from Series 2 is in it.
BIG QUESTION
Who is favourite chracter from The Wire?
For me it would Springer, Omar and Snoop.
The player who has wound me up most while still playing for us is Leon Knight. He was a hero who quickly turned into a twat as soon as he started playing in the championship. Can't say I've ever hated a Brighton player.
Now I HATE Didier Drogba!
Agree with all the above. Be great if Russ could establish himself as one of the greats after the start he made last season. Be nice to feel, by the end of October, that there is a plan, and we are going to see it through.
I thought kerry's best season was when he was playing as a left wing back for copell in the championship. Position seemed to suit him and after the disaster of the first half of the season, saw Brighton holding their own against some strong opposition. Shame we went down. Kerry was very much...
