[Albion] Are you enthused about who we might get in

If its McKenna, yes If its Starmer, I'm curbing it.

[Politics] General Election 2024 - The Poll

I'd settle for Labour winning without Starmer 😉

[Politics] General Election 2024 - The Poll

I'm particularly interested to see how Andrew Feinstein will do against Keir Starmer. If I were in the constituency, he'd certainly get my vote

    [Albion] Kieran McKenna

Fair point. Things also looked quite different for the Albion in February, the differences weren't so apparent with DeZerbi.

    [Albion] Kieran McKenna

As I say, just personal feeling. I'd go as far to say that with the PB relationship and following his career, yes McKenna has been the man currently top of our list and someone we are / were relatively confident of landing having announced RDZ departure. Probably a bit early for this...

    [Albion] Kieran McKenna

Reckon TB & PB will actually be a little bit fuming on this one if so. Think he's the one they've been working on and have had in mind for weeks / months, with Chelsea recent moves and Poch departure unexpected. Just a feeling, other options not being nearly so attractive right now. Not over yet.

Confident that with Barber having worked with McKenna twice before and been an influence in him joining Vancouver Whitecaps, we have the upper hand and trusted relationship here ..if indeed he is our man.

    [Travel] Quick Break Next Week

As a European summer city break you'll have the best of both worlds with Lisbon or Budapest. Lisbon itself is undulating great to explore history has excellent train / tram transport along its coastline to Cascais, a lovely town for a hot daytrip and sandy beach cove. Great street food...

    [Misc] Bully XL’s

Yes I did catch your humour. Fair enough if you are relatively comfortable with the situation too but I felt you also highlighted an area where further legislation might be considered. With you bringing it to attention, It would be a factor that I'd want to know in advance if possible and might...

    [Misc] Bully XL’s

I think you actually make a very valid point and to answer, if legislation would allow it and make it compulsory (registrations having an address) then yes. Would seem much more practical to be done with the things though.

[Albion] Paul barber obe and Tony Bloom

Tend to agree with you here. I'd add that Barber himself expressed these newfound difficulties of sustaining a squad with extra responsibilities of Europe and that everyone at all levels was learning lessons and gaining experience regarding this. The point being I don't think they (TB & PB)...

    [News] Middle East conflict

Well this is certainly welcome and significant and some admission by the U.S., if rather too late imo. I've still not heard of any similar action from the UK government or pressure from opposition front bench to revoke UK arms licences to Israel? Similarly other European nations, it would...
