Le Parisien note - Aston Villa and Brighton are both keen to strike a deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler in January.

He came up through Valencia and sold to PSG last year for 18M. Soler has 14 caps for Spain. He will be 27 in January.
