[Politics] Next Conservative Leader - Rishi Sunak

Nutella Baverman back as Home Secretary is another sad moment. Her culture wars obsession and hatred of foreigners doesn't help our reputation internationally (other than with North Korea etc!)

[Albion] December and January TV changes

5.30 pm on NYE sounds like a nightmare for travel. Trains normal end very early, so hopefully additional park and ride put on. Probably similar size crowd to Boxing day last year. They really do have us 'customers' at the heart of all their decisions, don't they?!

[Albion] Will De Zerbi still be our Manager after the International break?

Potter had the confidence of the board (Bloom) and was safe even if we went down. Assuming we stay up RDZ will be in situ next season. Have we regressed? Evidence so far would say yes, but he'll be given a significant period to prove he can turn it around.

    [Travel] Anyone been to Athens?

We went just before the pandemic. The history is astonishing. One big tip, when the random blokes try and 'bless you' with a wrist thingy, pay the first one a couple of euros and keep it on the whole visit and then they leave you alone if you show them.

[Albion] Light show at Amex tonight (light-induced epilepsy warning)

Glimpses of flickering light as though they were trying to put lights on and failing so then they tried the next one and the same thing happened again. Ultimately they tried hard and there was no tangible end result. It was an appertiser for the disppointing main which followed.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Nottingham Forest *** Official Match Thread ***

Condidering Friday was reminiscent of 18 months ago - all prettiness and no end result; I'd be fancying nicking it 0-1 if I were Forest. Go back early this season I'd fancy us to win by 3 or 4. Nervous now.

    [Albion] De Zerbi Thoughts?

Thoughts so far. Naive Potter stuff from 18-24 months back. Play nice and ineffective stuff.

We regressed to 18 months this evening. We need to get back to early this season very quickly.

Heading for a soft defeat. Early Potter all over it, dominate possession, play some nice stuff, fail to convert, lose. Hoping to eat my words.

Great finish, but how very Brighton to be losing after the game so far. Grrrr

[Drinking] Wetherspoon’s selling The Clftonville, Hove

When I was a small lad I'm pretty sure it was a Tesco clothes store and then became Bejams (precursor to Iceland I think). Originally, well before anyone on here's time I'm sure, it was a Cinema I believe.
