Selden Arms in Lyndhurst Road - Camra Arun & Adur pub of the year. Always an excellent array of cask and keg ales

Errmm ............. from personal experience. Nothing's hot in Worthing. Ghastly place! My parents moved there while I was at Uni, and apart from visiting them out of love for my family, I stayed at Uni even in the hols! - and moved away as far as possible afterwards.

A bit unfair. Was chatting to some people in a craft beer place in Worthing who regularly came here from Brighton, quote ' better pubs, restaurants, not Themed and Brighton full of tourists and drunken hen and stag parties' all about opinions, but Worthing's restaurant and pub scene is pretty good.

That’s why your parents moved here….didn’t you realise. It was to get away from you.

Hand brewery tap room followed by Shaan Indian on Tarring Road. Enjoyed both a lot.

Excellent choice. Hand Brew tap room Spring - Summer really is nice in their yard late afternoon

I'd already got away from them - or away from living at home anyway - by my choice of University! :)

They were worried you were going to be a boomerang boy I suppose. They couldn’t take the chance:

How long ago was this?

As a general observation, I like the general "ambience" of Worthing. There's some decent seafront bars, and I like that rooftop one near the pier who's name escapes me (its got about 3 floors of pool tables before you get up there). Proper suntrap.

Oh, and the Dome cinema is the only one I go to now. All the blockbusters at a FRACTION of the price (Monday nights are £3.50 - I mean bloody hell). And there's a bar, you can take your beer in to the auditorium. Why anyone would go anywhere else for 3-4 times the price I have literally no idea.
