You frequently make some ridiculous comments but you have achieved the nonpareil of daftness there. You can put whatever spin your tribal mind wishes on it but the tory government ruined the economy and the new government is in the process of fixing it....
PS Thanks for the thumbs up... again...
I think the clue is definitely in the poster's name in this case; there was no supporting evidence or explanation for such a vacuous outburst. maybe a thought just crossed his/her mind (what a lonely journey that must have been!) and s/he just had to share it;
but I suppose we shouldn't stop...
Do you have any evidence to support the case that Leave and Remain voters were equally ignorant of the implications of the vote? Do you class everyone on here who believes Remain was the best option and says so as 'the usual suspects'?
Martin Lewis is as usual spot on; I am not sure this 'countermands' my point but as I say a form of calibration is needed to the principle as I always believed to be the case ..... Thank you for the quotation.
Totally agree! That's why I put in the 'short/medium term' phrase. It would be scandalous if anyone is so cold this winter that they are endangered due to lack of State support, but just as the funding needs to be calibrated, I think so too do our responses.....
I am a pensioner and many of my friends are similar age; all received the payment and all feel that it is important to accept that we can do without it in these times of dire need. No one felt her/his health or safety was being compromised. I accept that a means tested approach is essential to...
I see... so you feel that these policies are not ones that you would approve for saving the country money in such dire financial times.
Please provide a short term/immediate alternative to help improve the financial situation that you would approve. I for one am interested in such constructive...
Interesting.
Source? Ah yes, I see it is from the Office of National Statistics....
SO.....
What point are you making by introducing the data on this thread?
Oh dear, the next ten years (and I confidently expect it to be a decade) are going to feel a long long time for you. I don't know of course but I suspect you might have preferred mendacious tory cronyism to continue for at least another parliament. This government will get better as it settles...
..and why do you think that is? Try and avoid sarcasm if you decide to respond; you don't do it very effectively.
Oh and if you can supply some supporting evidence that would also make it more interesting.....
