Who cares.
What is it with this obsession with Palace? Every bleeding minute of every day someone is on here with something else about them. I wish I could rewrite history and delete this pathetic, artificial rivalry that has no historical base to it.
The A23 derby. What a load of tosh. Have...
The PL was established to safeguard and strengthen the biggest clubs in this country. To this end it has succeeded. It is elitist and self-centred. It looks after its own. It has little or no interest in the pyramid below it. The rest of us are surviving on scraps thrown from the table.
It...
Funny how these posters are looking down their noses at a ground that holds over 40,000, has hosted many big games ( semi-finals/world cup etc ) and has a pedigree and a history that we can only dream about.
In a few years time the Amex will be looking a bit tired and worn and rival fans will be...
Exactly. It's been criminal how we have failed to play to the strengths of certain strikers. As you said, on the odd occasions we've done it...bingo.....but no...its...blame the strikers for everything...they are useless etc.
All successful strikers need service. They are not going to pick the...
....they dislike Saints more but that has never been reciprocated because of the Soton/Pompey hate scenario. In all truth, Bournemouth are like us, naturally neutral but desperate for some sort of rivalry. Yeovil hasn't got much appeal so they look east to us and the other two. Soton and Pompey...
Is it any wonder that our strikers aren't scoring when there is very little being set up behind them. We don't get wide and behind defences and our midfield just lacks any creativity. We don't break at pace and continually allow the opposition to get men behind the ball.
Oh God...Yes...I forgot we are that special. Please please forgive me. I humbly beg forgiveness for even suggesting there was a hint of arrogance in our fanbase. We are the chosen ones and should be eating at the top table.
The only arrogance towards Bournemouth is shown by BHA fans who may be a little envious that a club ( smaller than us in crowds/set-up etc ) has actually got its act together. Decent manager, hard working and well drilled squad and a bit of financial backing and hey-ho.
They are working hard to...
Before I get shot down in flames...I know...I did the Hughton projection over the whole season....If projected over the last 16 games we get 51 points. ( Tight....but lets hope for a bit more improvement )
Hyypia...18 pts from 22 games...average per game ( 0.82 )....end of season.....38pts....Relegated.
( Jones 4 pts from 2 games.....you can do the maths )
Hughton...8 pts from 6 games....average per game ( 1.33 )....end of season.....61 pts....Comfortable survival.
I can still see the problems we...
By the way, all this speculation about Labour is a waste of time. They ain't gonna win. That was decided many moons ago by an accident of birth in North London.
Seems to be happening all the time now.
Reading clearly had Clarke lined up prior to Adkins getting the boot and the same scenario at Forest re Pearce and Freedman. Paco Jemez...sound more like a brand of sherry than a football manager!
I have every faith in TB but the Hyypia appointment has lost him some brownie points. If we get relegated, it will be down to this gamble that backfired.
Although your comment is unrelated to the thread, I have to say that if you can gain comfort from the last two performances, then whoopee!
We lost at Blackpool, comfortably the worst team in the division and all I heard were players and fans blaming the pitch. It was an appalling display...
Isn't it amazing that these owners can't see a good thing when its right in front of their eyes. Lets not beat about the bush, Brentford are a small club who are currently overachieving. This is almost entirely down to Mark Warburton.
The change of direction that the owner is seeking will be a...
