I reckon Oscar was in the country to speak to another club about a possible managerial vacancy.
Sami I imagine is still wandering the earth vacantly, turning up at The Amex, Anfield and The BeyArena, absently staring around each ground whilst making passing gestures to confused fans, trying to work out why he has become the man he is.

Sami looked happier than I've ever seen him in the photos from Saturday. Sometimes people find out the hard way that they're not cut out for a certain job.
