You can say the same for lots of things parents do to their children though - circumcision (non religious reason), vaccinations, diet, pretty much everything.

Hardly heard them today, just got off the phone to Paddy and he said up until 50 minutes it was worse than a morgue. He was asked to leave the stadium at 50 minutes so can't comment on after that! lol
