My mate who is a Rangers fan says a lot of their fans want Goldson dropped. I also think you're being a little harsh on him here - he was next in line in a promotion-winning team behind Dunk and Duffy (ahead of Hunemeier) and they didn't pick up any injuries or hardly any suspensions.
Strikers...
If we're lucky enough to get a buyer and find somewhere we want, I would imagine I'll be back on here asking for help with choosing conveyancing solicitors! Last time we got a company chosen by Nationwide, it was basically a call centre in Cheshire and it never really felt like anyone knew what...
Morelos is good - I have no doubt that he'll make it in a top European league ability-wise, and as someone who follows Celtic I'll be pleased to see him leave Rangers. The quality of the Scottish game is often poor but you'd have to have your head buried in the sand to not see there are plenty...
Cool - is this a common thing to ask for? I'm not the best at haggling/being hard nosed in negotiating stuff, so if I brought it up and got laughed out of the office I'd probably give up on pretty quick.
This was my gut instinct anyway (based solely on finding them very proactive when we were looking to buy) but thanks for the great list of tips - I've had a couple of other recommendations so will look at it properly!
Interesting, I did anticipate some people would suggest that.
I've been leaning towards not doing that, purely because it is such an alien experience for me (but then I guess it is for most people - how many times do you sell a property in a lifetime?) and I figure that I'd need the easily...
We've decided to get our house valued and possibly take advantage of the stamp duty break to see if we can somehow find somewhere with an extra bedroom in the area. Checked finances with the bank, so the next step is to ring up a lovely estate agent and get them out to do a valuation and then...
Zamora signing permanently was a good shout - you felt like it was the missing piece of the puzzle to get us up that season.
I still think CMS was probably the one that was a bigger buzz at the time - given the amount spent and the fact that we beat Premier League clubs to his signature...
Good post - agree with almost all of it. Like many on here I've got mates from university etc who were big Leeds fans and had some good nights out up there before/after Albion games at Elland Road.
I do however think you're perhaps papering a little over the general issues with your fanbase...
We could be signing Ronaldo or Messi and some fans would point out they're on their way down or that we play a different system. Yes he's had injury problems but we're Brighton - he wouldn't be coming here if he was currently at the top of his game.
I know in the past we've spunked precious...
Not necessarily. It's probably somewhat of an Americanism, but there is a sense that when a season comes to a conclusion then the team disbands - and it's a fair point as there are always so many comings and goings. You'd also say "It's been a pleasure" to your mates at the end of a night at the...
Seems like a ridiculous state of affairs for a city like Coventry to be building another new stadium. I suppose it will create jobs and if they can both contribute to the local area's economy etc.
I don't read it that way at all.
However it would make sense that he's looking to move on. But I think he's been exemplary in his attitude this season, which must have been a fairly tricky one for him.

I'd have thought there'd be way more lower league teams in there for away days where the home fans were twats, but I guess time heals most wounds.
