One of my mates is a Palace Supporter (sorry! - I only found out after we became friends!) and after some tub-thumping on the relative merits of Brighton's chances in Div1 and Palace's in the Premiership, I have this bet now with him that Brighton will finish further off the bottom of Div 1 than...
The irony of this thread being on NSC, is that the main reasons for expensive housing, especially in the South and even moreso in Brighton, is a lack of affordable accommodation due to a dearth of places to build on, due to our country's overzealous 'thou shalt not build in the countryside'...

I had this argument with someone yesterday. Someone was saying his motovation was the money he'll earn. FFS! He's 18 and drives a Ford Ka, knows no fear, and probably doesn't understand - or care - what the difference a 6 figure from a 7 figure salary would do for his life...
Quite a lot of my non-footie-supporting mates wear the small insignia skint stuff because they think it's quite cool.
