there certainly is a danger of reading too much into it, and I'm sure you understand probability. but no, I don't think looking at stats is anything to do with why we all think we're crap at home. you can draw that conclusion just by watching the games.
Not just that, but then repeatedly and relentlessly lying about it happening. But by now it's pointless trying to convince anyone who hasn't already condemned it to do so, they simply don't want to
Yes this has been done to death, so feel free to skip out, but I have been trying to work this out over the last few days with the gift of renewed perspective following the win at the weekend. Much easier to have a more subjective view when things aren't so doom and gloom.
But I came across...
groß put in a great shift but I'd drop him for lamptey, we need his pace to help deal with the counter attack threat.
I'd also go with both maupay and welbeck. they play a three man defence so if we play one up top alone then we'll struggle.
they'll obviously look to hurt us on the counter...
war against drugs has been a spectacular failure. if you, as the government, have a substance which concerns you, why would you then ensure that criminal gangs have control of the marketplace. doesn't that seem a bit illogical? legalise asap.
where did I say we should buy him? personally in my opinion we need more pace and he doesn't solve that issue. I was just pointing out that he's a much more capable footballer than people were giving him credit for
granted he was awful last time Fulham were in the PL but mitrovic's best PL total of 11 goals in the 2018/19 season would've seen him be our top scorer in each of the last 3 seasons and another 11 goals would've made and immeasurable difference to where we ended up in the table. just saying.
yeah not the most up to date stats but it illustrates the point perfectly. generally, if you haven't got particularly brilliant footballers (or players who couldn't give a toss as is the case with everton), you probably aren't going to score a particularly brilliant amount of goals, regardless...
