Face piercings, not so sure about them, each to their own and all that. Earlobe stretching though just looks foul IMO. Saw a bloke with one that had gone badly wrong and he had two pieces of jagged flesh hanging down to his shoulder, looked like a torture victim. Don't get it at all. Whats next...
Agree. I think there will have to be a compromise though, for those who can't or don't want to stand for 90 mins.

Putmans Wine Bar perhaps?
I remember this place so well as I used to work in the then "Bedford Hotel" on the wash up crew in the kitchens in the evenings. We used to sneak out of the fire escape in Little Preston Street into the back entrance of Putmans and nip downstairs while the oldest...
Thats the one. Two entrances, tiny downstairs room which used to have a pool table years ago. I first remember it as Putmans in the late 70's then it was Becketts for a while after.
Done. Might have got bounced around a couple of times by them in the early 80's but my heart goes out to any club getting f***ed over by money grabbing c***s. You know what I mean?
Perfect example of SS in a UK ground. This in the NS with normal seats down the front, or as I suggested, in a sideways D or upside down wide V shape curve in the middle/front would be perfect, loads of noise and everyone gets a good view. No increase in capacity either.
Not so. SS options are varied one person per seat/spac, 1and a half or two per seat space ,which may emerge as options for the Amex. An increase in capacity would not require re modelling anything. I am sure that Exits, egress, concourses, stairs etc are built to fire regs not numbers of people...
European directives on how to walk. F**k me, are we that stupid? A far better way to walk safely on ice/snow is to get some big old wooly socks and put them on over your shoes. A technique used by native american indians, gives you excellent grip. Think about when you were a kid making snowballs...
80% does seem a bit high. I know with SS in Europe they have systems that allow one and a half or even 2 people per seat/space which increases the capacity/revenue.
Agree with you on this. Problem is how the big money game has 'moved on' from terracing. The spectre of the bad old days, massive offs, over crowding (Hillsborough) etc is still lingering in the minds of the powers that be.
Could be avoided if we opted for the 1 and a half person per seat/space system that is successfully used in some European grounds? Could raise well in access of 400k per season - every season.
