    Surely Palace can't... 16/17

    Surely Palace can't... 16/17

It can only get worse. Look into the eyes of Fat Sam and bask in the undeniable fact that he, and the bin dippers are undeniably f***ed. Bung banners, his own player offering to meet a pissed off fan outside, the worst post match interview I have ever seen and we are only a few days into his...

This year just keeps getting better. Come on you Taffs!! :rave:

    Amex or Goldstone?

Now you're talking. Look a bit odd with a straight corrugated roof against all those sexy curves though. SS for the NS Amex faithful please Mr Bloom. ( Comfy seats for the infirm and generally grumpy at the front of course).

    Amex or Goldstone?

Sorry for the repeat thread, didn't check. Just getting all nostalgic after my trip to Fulham. Reminded me of the old NS going mental although less crowded and didn't end up 20 yards down the terrace with one shoe missing, but still f****ing great fun! Thinking about the old days with my rosie...

Lawrenson: Newcastle a shoe-in for Championship title

Got this from The Goldstone Wrap online - "He was 19 and settling in comfortably with Third Division Preston when he suddenly found himself on the move. ‘I never really wanted to leave. The only reason I went was because Preston needed the £2oo,ooo transfer fee. ‘I was on holiday in Spain...

Lawrenson: Newcastle a shoe-in for Championship title

Exactly my point. Considering at the end of his time with us he was worth nearly 5x what we paid for him on the market and went on to greatness as a top flight/international player, his muted view of us in his role as pundit pisses me off a bit. We loved him like the legend he was for...

Lawrenson: Newcastle a shoe-in for Championship title

This. Maybe in private or in interviews he will give a positive view of Brighton. Considering his great career with Albion, in his pundit role he seems to have a bad taste in his mouth about us. Put it this way, unless someone else mentions it when BHA are mentioned he doesn't smile...

    Amex or Goldstone?

Rarely in the Vol or Lamb. I was into the punk/ska scene so used to go to the Green Dragon, Belvedere (long gone), Electric Grape, Quadrant, Prince Albert etc. Hove pubs, the Albion, Stirling Arms, The Exchange, my mate's Dad used to run the Aldrington, Portland Road in the 80's.

    Amex or Goldstone?

Maybe. I went to school at the Neville, left in 82. Funnily enough we share the same initials. Regards DR

This. 1st game 1976, Oxford I think.

    Amex or Goldstone?

Correct, County Cricket ground in Hove I believe?

    Amex or Goldstone?

Fair enough. I suppose the expansion needed to get us to PL standards would have been impossible. I love the atmosphere/facilities at the Amex, hoping that SS will be a part of our future at the Amex so we can get the NS roar back to full capacity. Perfection.

Our celebrations from the Fulham end

    Amex or Goldstone?

Just wondering about the carnage and misery that got us to Falmer and our spanking new state of the art stadium, The Amex. Great days indeed for the Albion. Given the choice though, would anyone prefer to have kept and upgraded the old Goldstone? To me its a complete no brainer - Goldstone 100%...

Never to be repeated I hope. Flags OK, bin the clacker/clappers please Mr B.

    Fulham away

Agreed. WTF are those 'clapper/clacker' things all about ? Not doing themselves any favours using those, looks like a kids party or special needs day out comms device.

Stadium Steps Up To The Coach Park

Got to say that exiting from the ES can be a bit hairy if your heading for the park and ride buses. It could get a bit nasty. So long as the OB and stewards get it right then don't see the need for separate steps though, not for a few handbags. But if we did have serious problems then I fear...

We three fans of Fulham are........

Agree totally. Sat on their bums the whole time and I didn't hear a squeak all game, apart from those terrible 'clacker' things. Funny little club. Respect due though, that they're not up the road supporting Chelsea and made us rowdy C Siders most welcome. The real sweetener for me was winning...
