Today's Christmas hit is from Swedish 9-Piece, Irene. Gonna be DJing at this from 2.00 and my Come Again DJ budy can't make it down from Nottingham as he's suffering from chronic sciatica. That's how hip (replacement) we are :rave:

Not festive, although it's an early Christmas gift for some. The Manhattan Love Suicides are back, back, BACK!

If you do do that, a Nobel prize must surely await you.

I remember driving through Brighton, up on to the A23 and over to Warninglid on a gloriously sunny early morning in summer a few years back. Screeching Weasel, The Queers and The Travoltas just kept a huge happy smile on my face for the whole journey.

I would stake my bladder on it being Staly's selection.

Well, I got a pass with distinction for part 1, but I'd settle for a simple pass with part 2. I might start a thrilling employee share plans thread. Or maybe I won't.

There would generally be a dividend waiver as you wouldn't want to pay a dividend to yourself. Better to get an EBT though so you don't bugger up your headroom and they're not restricted in close periods. An' ting, in it.

Exams all completed, and thank you for your best wishes on the C86 thread. I feel pleasantly confident... which is nice. On the train home after the annual client Christmas drink shenanigans, listening to Free Loan Investments, contemplating taking up the fuzzy guitar.

Sounds bloody great - I'll have it if you don't want it!

I see where you're coming from there. Funnily enough, I've got Lovers Not Fighters but had never noticed that before. Then again, I hve a strange relationship with MW. Here's my Christmas song for Thursday - I did an early one this morning and might not get a chance tomorrow. Dedicated to...

Lovely frosty, misty mornings over the last couple of days... ...but the forecasts seem to be offering up very little other than dull days with temps between 7c and 10c. I know that's fairly typical for the time of year, but is there anything more exciting on the horizon, be that a heatwave...

Which video, Shaun, which video? Meanwhile, Gold-Bears continue to thrill... They get a lot of comparisons to the Wedding Present, but I'm not so sure.

Yeah, I'm not too shabby at this type of thing, just a shame I'm pretty hopeless at anything remotely useful. On that positive note, I'm off to Paddington for an ICSA exam *sigh*

Cracking Buff Medways selection yesterday, by the way.

First up are Kip Berman and Peggy Wang from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Then it's Pete Green who releases solo stuff and sings with The Sweet Nothings, and Marianthi, one of the Indietracks organisers who co-runs Atomic Beat Records and is involved with a million other great things. Then...
