Psychobilly freakout - It's a nightmare, an absolute nightmare - BUT... I'm certain it'll all be water under the bridge if we win the tie. Walk along Wembley way, on THE biggest day for the Albion since 1997, and you'll feel a lot better. And you'll party like the rest of us if we win that...
Tricky, as Orlandi was rightly April's POTM, but Lua Lua is certain to start after 2 goals against Wolves - I'm pretty sure that's the only reason Gus took him off and denied him the chance of the hat-trick. Getting them both in the same team....
-------------Kuszczak
Calderon Greer Upson...
If I were refereeing, I'd probably go for whichever end suited both sets of fans to keep the shoot-out as 'neutral' as possible, so the South End at the Amex.
Would be far trickier at Wembley though, where each end is definitely favourable for one team or the other.
Peanut butter. Utter, utter filth. I cannot find words to truly describe how foul it is, but in short: It looks like vomit, it smells like vomit, going anywhere near it makes me want to vomit.
Ugh.
Head tells me form goes completely out of the window; this is the derby. In neither of our meetings earlier in the season would I have predicted a 3-0, so whatever happens could easily come out of left-field. People said after our win that it was (in part) that Holloway didn't "get" the rivalry...
Fair enough. I just think the abuse that Albion fans give him individually will be daft enough to give him motivation, even if Holloway doesn't.
No complaints here though if they all walk on the pitch baffled...
This worries me a little, actually.
If one of the reasons for you guys not playing as well as earlier in the season really is because Murray has become lethargic, it might be one less reason for you to worry this weekend - I can't see any player who "gets" the rivalry being lethargic at all on...
I can't see Martinez being sacked in a million years. He might leave to go to a bigger club, but Wigan surely know they will never get better than him?
A couple of SMALL issues Bozza, all related, nothing worth turning the thing off if it'll cost NSC a fortune, but:
1) I am semi-regularly being logged out, it's happened 4/5 times now, but...
2) If I refresh the page, suddenly I am logged back in (hence it really being a small issue), but...
3)...
They're definitely not right in the corner, as Albion fans have S1B and I imagine there will be a fair bit of segregation.
As PriapismBoy says though, I'd rather they weren't right behind the goal in case we go to a shootout. (God, a shoot-out against Palace to reach a Championship play-off...
If the club had said that anyone in unofficial items would be refused entry, I'd agree with you... but they aren't.
If you have something blue and/or white, then wear it. If you want to buy something for the game, then why not make it something official? Better to give the money to the club...
