'Always the victim, it's never your fault', a chant too far?

Back on topic... What a bloody magnificent display by Everton tonight! Two mascots, one in blue (with 9 on the back) and one in red (with 6 on the back) walk out together. Then the names of the 96 displayed on the screen while "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" plays over the sound system...

The Badger Cull - It is WRONG

TEN YEARS a panel studied to see if that conclusion was in fact logical. They found it wasn't that simple, and that the cull wouldn't help. How foolish they are, if you can prove otherwise in three sentences.

The Badger Cull - It is WRONG

Anyway, rather than throwing words back and forth, here is the verdict of the man who completed a TEN YEAR study of the effect of badger culls on bovine TB. LINK Short answer for those who don't want to read 289 pages of solid study and evidence:

The Badger Cull - It is WRONG

Yes, he is after all famously anti-cow, so is quite happy for them to keep dying. Or maybe he has studied enough to know the cull won't protect them?

The Badger Cull - It is WRONG

...is not the right answer. Scientist have been advising that the cull will NOT help, hence the Welsh government listening to them and NOT culling. Our coalition doesn't really give a monkey's what the evidence says, and is just carrying on regardless. Nobody is denying that the farmers have a...

    Watford an away sell out?

Yeah it was the dreadful 1-0 Tuesday night defeat... must have picked the wrong steward to make eye-contact with!

    Watford an away sell out?

What? Last time I was forced into the right seat by a steward - almost on my tod right at the front on the far left hand side. Obviously I moved back a bit nearer the crowd so there wasn't massive gaps between us, but I had no chance of being anywhere near the middle where the noise was coming from.

Remove Leon Knight from the "Legends' Wall"?

With the rest of the stuff he tweets, I'd rather he tweeted that he hated us than let anyone infer there's still some kind of bond between us in 2012.

    iPhone 5

Software-wise, not much. Absolutely nothing, in fact, if you have a 4S (that can get the same out of the new iOS6). Hardware-wise: 4G capability, more powerful processor (twice as fast as 4S allegedly), bigger screen, thinner/lighter/etc.

    iPhone 5

I've only had chance to have a very quick look at http://www.sim-only.co.uk/iphone-sim-only-deals/ but nothing leaps out at me. Maybe if you've got more time you'll find something good... Please let us know if you do!

    iPhone 5

I'm based in London though (live Zone 2, work in Soho) so I'm assuming I'll have 4G access 95% of the time. You are right though that 3 is cheaper... also tempted by buying it unlocked from Apple and seeing other no-commitment deals out there...

    iPhone 5

£51 on Orange, free iPhone 5 (16GB) and unlimited calls, texts and data. With £300 coming back from the 4S, that's quite tempting.

    iPhone 5

For £46 a month on Orange, the iPhone 5 is also free, there's also unlimited calls & texts, but you get three times as much data (3GB) on the faster 4G network. Why would anyone do that on O2?

I was already excited for tonight...

Goosebumps EVERY time I hear the STOOORREERRRRRRRRR at the end. Magical stuff. Can I leave the office now please?

O2 have to do something special, not having 4G. What length are those contracts? My 4S contract was only 12 months (only available to then existing customers), any sign of them doing similar again?

    Way off topic.... Coffee/tea mugs

I use this one at work: http://www.seagullsdirect.co.uk/mugs-and-glassware/montage-mug?img=0, though it's on its third version now after the first two mysteriously went missing... I had given up until it was reduced to half price before the Barnsley game...

    Pie & a pint

I think you need the credit on the card in the first place. One pie/pint combo will cost you £6.30, but without £7.00 on the card to start with I don't think it'll work. Having said that, the OP could buy it twice, each in a separate transaction and it would probably work...
