[News] Once normality returns, what are you LEAST looking forward to?

Can't really think of anything, although I had to get the train to Leicester on Monday and was amazed at how quiet and simple/efficient the whole journey was. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting(perhaps to at least be questioned as to why I was travelling), but the trains are pretty much empty

[Albion] Lamptey close to signing new deal EDIT: New deal (to 2025) confirmed 17/01

Good news on a new deal for him but I'd be very surprised if he's put anywhere near to parity of the top earners. There's no doubt he's a talent, but at present he's injured and has not shown he can play a quantity of games. He'll be on the radar of a number of clubs no doubt, but they'll all...

[Albion] Adam Webster is not a defender: discuss

The through ball from De Bruyne and then the first 2 touches from Foden last night were top top quality. There was very little Webster could have done. He is getting better although his awareness of attackers around him could use a little work, either when defending in the box or in possession

[Football] Does Scott Parker have a point

"The possibility of playing Spurs on Wednesday came on Saturday." said he spent "numerous hours on Sunday trying to explain it wasn't feasible" Perhaps she could have spent that time looking at his team selection etc.... According to the article, all teams signed up to the fact that short...

    [Albion] Trossard

No confidence, too many little ineffective tricks. Cliche time, but he needs to go back to basics because he’s a good player

[Albion] Newport County vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

The pitch is atrocious, and whilst it’s the same for both teams it’s apparent we can’t get used to it. Potter should’ve taken the squad over to the IKEA construction site for the session yesterday.

    [Football] Peak football

I was 26 when I ruptured my ACL. 2 years waiting for an operation, 12 months rehab. Three years were spent waiting, and then in the gym. I missed what should have been the peak years, and managed to play one more season before damaging the same knee. The NHS wouldn’t help second time around....

[Albion] A question for all the pro potter fans on the board

It would be great to get ‘that’ striker who will bang in the goals, but the ‘chances’ we’re supposed to be creating are not ‘gilt edged’, they’re mostly half arsed half chances. The strikers we have would thrive on better service, but we struggle in the final third to split defences. In answer...

In no particular order: The King Blues Groove Armada Pulp As part of my job I’ve been to hundred of gigs/shows from The Stones, Guns n Roses to the Who, Take That and The Vamps, but the 3 above bring back great memories

[Albion] West Ham United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Ben White is no wing back, square peg, round hole. We have to stop trying to defend corners with zonal marking, when will Potter learn this? Disappointed with a point based on the game, but pleased we didn’t lose

[NSC] How was Boxing Day for you ?

It’s my lads birthday today(and every Boxing Day) and it’s tough enough trying to find things to do without going into tier 4 based lockdown. Footgolf was open this morning so we did that, followed by a fry up back at home. And then nipped down to the park for a socially distanced natter with a...

[Politics] Give the current government a score out of 10 for their handling of COVID-19

Its very easy to say it without the hard facts, but it feels like they have tried to balance the economy before peoples lives - and this should never have been the case. However, with a pandemic like this the WHO(no gags about Daltrey on Townsend) should step in and take overall control with...

    [Technology] How BIG is yours?

We went from 32 to 50, and it felt a bit overpowering for a few days. We have a projector in one room and i vowed that we didn't need a bigger telly because of that, however I got a great deal on a 50" and am glad I went for it
