Liverpool at Anfield could be considered a bit of a free hit. Burnley have just beaten them there with a pretty iffy penalty, and dogged defending.
We should go for it and give them a game, just being weary of trying not to ship too many goals if they start to tear us a new one...
We can afford...
I’d like to see this, but I’m not sure of Webster on the left of the 3. Dunk always played on the left of a 2, and I think he would be better suited than Webster. Could White play centre of the 3? Webster is better on the right as has been shown when Burn has payed on the left
As long as its bagged up correctly Santander don't have a limit. However, you cannot just exchange it for notes it has to paid into a Santander account. Some banks limit you to 3 or 4 bags at a time
Apparently there was a training ground incident with Murray as well. If we could get him fit and his head right, he’d be an addition to the squad, but I doubt it’ll happen
The tactics are there and the ideas are there, but we're still 2 or 3 players short of being able to put it all into practice. Two of those players could be Welbeck and Lallana, but we've yet to see it all click together
Why?
Because in my opinion Walton is a better keeper. Steele can do his homework and that’s great, but I think GP will start to use Walton on the bench.
The first sentence, yes.
The second sentence, definitely no. He’s a liability in our final third, with his inability to not back heel or flick, or twist. We do ok with simple passing out of the back/middle third, but I’d worry if he was played any deeper
Our inability to break teams down is my main concern. We saw it against Fulham away and Sheffield U at home. Lower PL teams have worked out that if you park the bus and hit us on the counter we’re weak. Burnley did it at Liverpool this week. Stubborn defending is starting to reap rewards. A...
Despite what GP has said about liking Steele as a number 2, I think we’ll start to see Walton on the bench for league games with Steele relegated to third choice
He only has to keep them up, and this season that will be a success.
Rosenior has been on a slow upward trajectory since he started there, so this appointment is a good one for him
