Ings wants Champions Lge football and is probably better than Southampton. If he can stay fit, then I think Ings is good enough for a top 8, maybe even top 4 club
It's looking likely that Ings will be off in the summer, so unless they can find a replacement then things might be tough next season too.
In answer to the OP, points on the board count for everything and they have to play all the sides below them. I think they'll stay up, and they'll be above us
I looked into hybrids for my latest car, and the limited electric miles(25), the extra weight and loss of boot space due to the batteries meant I opted for a standard diesel. I only do around 5k a year, but overall the diesel was a better option than the hybrid and better than petrol. Next car...
We’ve become easy to play against. We don’t have size up front therefore we’re going to try and play with pace. Sit deep and this negates our ability to get behind the defence(yesterday). Defend in numbers, fill in the gaps and shots get blocked. The stats are there but they don’t tell the story...
Only Bissouma I reckon, and even he’s out of form over the last few weeks
The others will all have a club valuation, but as a relegated team will others meet that valuation. When Burnley last went down, Dyche kept the bulk of the squad and they went straight back up. Might that be an option for...
To quote Leon Knight “if you can’t hit the target from 12 yards, you shouldn’t be a professional footballer”. I’m sure he doesn’t have a 100% record, but I don’t think he missed one for us. A professional footballer should be able to put a penalty inside the posts and bar, even if it’s simply...
I was gutted after Monday as I thought we’d beat Palace, but I saw today as a banana skin. So whilst I’m disappointed, we’re a bit off form and it feels like the players are less concerned. I can’t believe we missed 2 pens, missed not saved. I thought Dunk might step up for the second...
This isn’t working. Connolly is not a left winger, Maupay is having to play with his back to goal and Veltman is expected to play as a right back and a winger with no support at either end. Changes at half time, or another 45 where the players simply don’t know where they’re supposed to be playing
Palace are doing a number on us. A bank of 4, two in the middle and a bank of 4 at the back - all behind the ball. It’s what Fulham and Sheffield U did to us. There is no room to get through. We look laboured again and light in midfield. Bissouma and Gross are not in control as they have been...
I spoke to Finlay Quaye a couple of years ago on a business matter and he was still dining out on his 90s success, despite being a massive stoner and royally ****ing up his career. He firmly believed he was relevant
Robin Friday: "I'm half your age, but I've already had twice your life"
I'd heard of him, but never read anything about him until this thread. F**k me, what a story..
