It's not about the league position though - it's about the boring and negative style of play. 39 goals in 38 games is pathetic. We sign Lingard who is a proven goalscorer and then play him as a bloody left winger.

I personally think that this season is about consolidating, seeing where the team needs miproving and going for it next year. Bloom has stated he doesn't like doing deals in Jan and pre-season Oscar wouldn't have known what was needed.

Thought Lopez was good BUT if we play 4-3-3 I would rather he was one of the midfield 3 rather than the attacking 3 as he doesn't have enough pace to get in the box to support Leo. Very intelligent player though.
