I'm slightly worried about player unity. TK seems to have decided to disengage. Leo is more obstreperous than ever. KLL is never happy. I just get the feeling that last year Gus blew it for us, this year I could be the team.
Of course not. But it was posted as a "fantastic result" I was pointing out that it was not fantastic, whatever happened to the teams around us. It was ok.
No. Yesterday would turn out not to have been too damaging. Far from fantastic. We missed a very good chance to get three points, improve our gd and put down a marker when the other contenders slipped up. Whatever the Ipswich result today, yesterday was a missed opportunity to put clear water...
Are you actually a Brighton fan? Seriously. You've got nothing to say other than make statements that are in fact just you (miserable) opinion. What do you think you're adding to the debate you bloody curmudgeon.
Ipswich run in looks quite tough. We really could have helped ourselves with three points today. Can't work out if wer're bottlers, over defensive or just inconsistent. Won't be long until we know the answer.
Ah. You are a mind reader. The only thing you omitted was the excess of preemptive posts about promotion and premier league season ticket prices and you'd have nailed the whole sorry set of circumstances that create an oh-so-familiar Albion perfect storm.
I went Mullery because he's the only manager to take us to the top tier. But hovered over Bailey because whatever you think about his football, we did very very well.
Bowling looking strong, but only on wickets that lend a hand.
Weight of runs spread amongst only a few batsmen.
Great start but we may not be as robust as we appear to be.
We have won three league games in a row once this season. Doncaster, Blackburn and Wigan in Nov.
We have won two league games in a row four times (Brum/Burnley in Aug, Leicester/Boro in Dec, QPR/Bolton in March, Leicester/Charlton in April).
I know we are coming in to form, but do people...
If we have genuine play off aspirations then we need to be beating huddersfield. A team in very poor form with nothing to play for. All of the games are "must win" one feels but this is a true litmus of our resolve.
