    [Politics] Brexit

True, but Cameron claimed to have out negotiated the EU a few months ago - that doesn't mean anyone believed him!

    [Politics] Brexit

I would think that making Leave look an attractive option (by giving the UK a favourable deal) will do far more to imperil the Eurozone than punishing us, simply by encouraging the populations of other EU countries to follow us out. But then that debates been had on this thread several pages ago...

    [Politics] Brexit

Net migration from the EU last year (172,000) was smaller than net migration from outside the EU (191,000). But don't let the facts get in the way of your rant.

    [Politics] Brexit

In this situation 50 Brits lose jobs, 500 migrants lose jobs, and nobody gains. And this sounds good to you, just because it gets some foreigners out of the country? ???

Thank god no MPs in the Commons have ever been found fiddling expenses. Leaving the EU will definitely stamp out this kind of behaviour.

How much money can we put on Middlesborough to win tonight to jinx them or compensate us?

Precisely the thinking that made me a tidy little profit on the QPR game - Connor was 12/1 to score anytime then. Might well have a little more of the same...

How much money can we put on Middlesborough to win tonight to jinx them or compensate us?

I've got £20 on a Boro & Burnley double this weekend.

[Albion] If It Comes To It, Who Would Be Your Dream Goal Winner???

Any one of our squad deserves a moment of glory and it's hard to picture any of them scoring the winner without being absolutely delighted for them as an individual as well as what it means for the club. If I had to pick someone though, I'd pick Baldock. He's been huge for us this season...

    [Politics] Brexit

Norway has voted NO to the EU in referendums, twice - and now operates under that exact model. Why do you think the Norway option is a definite NO? There's every chance that, in the event of a Leave vote, whoever leads the negotiations signs something just like it. Or do you just mean that your...

    Borough run in permutations

Surely Tony will fly the squad up on the Friday evening? Quick drive from Lancing to Shoreham, 1 hour (ish?) in the air and a short drive at the other end? This is true.

Does anyone else wish they could wake up and it was all over

I'm absolutely loving it, in a strange kind of way. Of course there is stress involved, of course it's distracting from everything else happening in our lives... but this is what football is about, isn't it? Times like this. Of course, that doesn't mean I'm enjoying it so much I want it to...

    Borough run in permutations

Boro will have 3 days more rest & preparation than our players before the big game. I think that outweighs any advantage of knowing their result first.

    [Politics] Brexit

They all trade with the single market, they aren't in the single market, so there are some tariffs/duties on imports & exports, ultimately meaning that (some) trade is more expensive. Norway (for example) on the other hand is in the single market, but as a price it accepts freedom of movement...

Charlton planning last game abandonement v Burnley!

Also see West Brom ruining Spurs hopes of winning the Premier League as a prime example of a 'nothing to play for team'. I agree that any of the four you name could very easily decide who goes up.

    Any excel wizards?

My life was changed when I discovered CTRL & [ (open square bracket) Press it when you're in a cell with a formula and it will take you directly to the cell it's pulling from - even opening another workbook if necessary.

Boro forum - none too positive...

I wonder whether a group of fans that are #NotTogether could easily turn on their players if it isn't going their way. I'm absolutely certain that if even if we were 1-0 down but needed a win, our fans in the away end would be singing loud and proud to help the team turn the game round; maybe...

Delia's fee for half-time motivational speeches, rather than services as a director?

    Any excel wizards?

Quite simple if you can be completely consistent with how you write "Not Out", i.e. no extra spaces/hyphens etc. A countif formula could count the number of times "Not Out" appears and deduct this from the number of innings to get the number of times the batsmen has lost his wicket.
