Don't disagree but I am stunned it makes so much difference. Same players home and away. Same tactics yet they look world beaters at home and league one away!
Well you were right about Balogun being class - he was immense.
Having said that I though Duffy was different class today as well.
One thing is for sure - whichever 2 of the 3 play we have some very talented Centre Backs at the club :)
Pretty much agree.
March was one of the worst players vs Watford so was so nice to see him back to his best today.
Thought Duffy and Balogun were both immense.
Had this happen to me once a couple of seasons ago.
Phone up and give name and car reg number and they will give it to steward in charge. Print off email in case.
Good luck
This is IMO an example of looking at Goldson through rose tinted glasses. Goldson was very good at times but at others was poor (there was one game - apologies can't remember which - when Uwe and Connor were playing together and Warren on the radio commented that Goldson was playing like a...
Changes I would make would be:
Montoya for Bruno
Bissouma for Propper
AJ for March
Suspect Hughton will play Montoya and either AJ or Bissouma. Would like to see Locadia get some minutes upfront as well - not sure if as a starter or sub though.
Disagree entirely. He was poor vs Huddersfield and like all players had some games not as good as others but he was not "bad" for nearly a 3rd of the season. His partnership with Dunk was one of the main reasons we stayed up.
I also think people look at Goldson through rose tinted glasses. I...
I'm sure if Balogun will get a go if he's good enough and Hughton thinks he is a better than Duffy.
I also think there is something to be said for defenders like Duffy who can defend - Lots of defenders in the Prem who are good on the ball but cannot do the basics.
Have to agree to disagree then because for the majority of last season I thought he was outstanding. His partnership with Dunk was immense and one of the main reasons we stayed up imho
Bottom one? Absolutely not (but to be fair not really seen enough of Balogun to comment).
If Balogun is genuinely better I am sure he'll get in the team eventually but to me Duffy has been brilliant since we've signed him and on Saturday was certainly not the weak link.
Fair enough but I think for £1.5 million for a player that played a key role in getting us promoted is great value and no-where near our worst bit of business. Think under Hyppia he was also one of our best players (very low bar obviously!).
Remember he was the same price as Elvis Manu - now...
