Locadia is a good back up imo.
Murray would have looked crap last night without anyone close to him.
Why we played Gross so deep rather than supporting Locadia baffles me. Never seen a striker so isolated.

Pretty much agree with all of your post but what I would add is that playing the same way as the first team will make it easier for all the new players to transition - One of the reasons I was so disappointed that we played Gross so deep and not supporting the striker. It's not how the first...
It is a wild Peregrine that has been at the Amex for about 4 years - roosts there each night.
Sussex Peregrines keep track of the peregrines of Sussex and I know they are aware of this bird.
Seen a lot of people saying that Locadia showed he couldn't play the Murray role. Feel that is really harsh on him as he had no support whatsoever.
When Murray plays alone upfront he at least has Gross alongside or at least close to him. Yesterday was basically the same formation but with Gross...
Duffy has been amazing (the odd game aside) for 2 years for us.
I don't get this myth that he has just emerged in the last 2 games!
He was bought as an improvement on Goldson and helped us get promoted and helped us stay in the Premier league - yet a few good games in a poor league and people...
Personally I would like to see Bissouma, Balogun and Montoya all play as well.
I know they all played vs Liverpool but it takes time to adjust to English football and the more experience they get the better imo.
Hughton said at the fans forum that Locadia had taken time to settle into English football and had found last season difficult. He said that he was more settled now and was looking sharp. This is what I saw yesterday - a sharper player who worked back when needed.
Think he will be a real asset...
Whilst to a certain extent I agree we will have 3 strikers fighting for 1 place. 2 of whom currently fully fit - the other doesn't have a major injury and I suspect will be playing after international break. I think it would be a risk keeping a player who clearly wants to play first team...
No we didn't - Locadia was fit and would probably have come on if we hadn't had to use a sub replacing Bruno.
Far too early to write him off - did you hear Hughton at the fans forum? He was raving about Locadia saying he had taken time to settle but was now sharp, fit and raring to go.
