Having too much fun enjoying the game to start looking to the skies in case a lone bird flies by

It was perched on the girders on the ES roof for ages.....just south of the halfway line

Was perched directly above me for a while - was slightly worried about Peregrine poo!

I took some relatives on the stadium tour last week and there was the remains of a seagull, spread across some of the seats high up in the West Stand. That's quite enough of that carrion on, if you ask me.

I saw a couple of impressive flocks of geese go over the day we go promoted.

The peregrine’s been there for years. But according to my husband, who loves his birds, and was frankly delighted by the welcome distraction, there was a pair of them flapping around last night.

It is a wild Peregrine that has been at the Amex for about 4 years - roosts there each night.
Sussex Peregrines keep track of the peregrines of Sussex and I know they are aware of this bird.
