[Albion] Sky sports fixture calendar (iPhone)

I had this on my work calendar and the fixtures disappeared from that a couple of days ago. Now used the one via the club website.

[News] What age were you when you first hard boiled an egg ?

Not sure about the first time but can't remember the last time I hard boiled an egg. Plenty of soft boiling to make runny yoked scotch eggs - much better than the dry hard boiled variety.

    [Albion] Jakub Moder

Could also be that as the club have been carefully managing his game time, they agreed that he would only play in one of the games.

[Misc] The Award-winning official "More Snow Tomorrow?" Thread [2024-25 Season]

We all know not to eat yellow snow but what do we do about yellow rain? I think I encountered something similar at rock festivals back in the day

    [Humour] Middle aged absent-mindedness

For work I write down notes about meetings etc. I find that by writing it down it seems to stick in my memory better (and also means less chance of being distracted by something else - for example, reading NSC while joining meetings from home). The advantage is that now if that if I forget, I...

[Finance] ******** The Scam Thread *********

Seems to be a lot of SPAM coming out from emails @fathom-labs.io at the moment. Looks like they have got hold of a lot of email addresses and are sending out emails that look very convincing from companies like John Lewis and Boots saying you have won a prize.

[Albion] Putting tickets on the exchange

Two seats in front of us are rarely used by the people who own them this season - possibly due to the lack of Saturday games. Always different people using them and they must be well beyond six resales for the season

    [Misc] Britain's bitter bread battle

Not sure if anyone locally does this now but Reds True barbecue (they sell sauces etc through Tesco and other places) have this on their restaurant menus up in the North of England. I've also made my own - you cut the donut in half and toast the cut side. You then load the burger with the...

    [Misc] Britain's bitter bread battle

Along similar lines, I thought it looked like an English Muffin (I hate that term). I have tried the man vs food thing about using a glazed doughnut as the bun. It actually works well with the glaze melting to add a nice sweetness to the burger but it is a heart attack on a plate

    The New Uncle Sams

Sounds like it would be run by the people who run the Broadwater and Durrington franchises. I love a double chilli burger,, no lettuce, two lots of bacon and a portion of onion rings from the one in Burgess Hill but my nearest branches have been poor for too long.
