[News] The Coronavirus Good News thread

All the toerags who gathered together at Xmas and New Year, ignoring advice, catching and spreading the virus, are now working their way through the system. Give it another week or so and the figures will start to improve quite a lot.

    [Politics] Brexit

Well, it shouldn't be parliamentary business as normal. These are times of acute crisis, caused by this pandemic. The first three months, at least, of this year, should be totally devoted to controlling this virus and the measures needed to try and help us all survive. The business fallout from...

[Politics] ***Biden/Harris Inauguration - Official Match Thread***

No chance. Biden will be an extremely old and passive president. There will be little activity, apart from the early and easy headline grabbers. Its back to the consolidation of the status quo and quiet subterfuge and corruption that scuppered Hilary's chances and now seems easily forgotten.

[Football] Your bottom 3. Mid Season edition.

Well that is everyone bar four teams. Unless you mean the higher echelons of the table and if that is the case, don't hold your breath. Our PL history shows that we lose almost every away game to the bigger hitters. Maybe we can rely on our strong home form or maybe not. Knowing us, our points...

[Albion] Hypothetical poll re the Albion manager

The four games after Liverpool are vital.....Burnley ( A )...Villa ( H )....Palace ( H )....WBA ( A ).......if we beat Fulham and then go on to take a minimum of 5 points from these games, then some calmness will be restored. [Politics] Brexit

The truth is that no one is really sure how it is all going to pan out. It is speculation and assumption. Most seem to assume that nothing is going to change within the EU ( lets wait and see ) and none of us have a clue what changes our government are going to make. Taxation is a prime example...

[Football] Lallana, Welbeck, Connolly, Lamptey injuries?

No later than Easter!! Is that tongue in cheek or are you being serious? If that is the case, then thats at least another 10 PL games.

[Football] Lallana, Welbeck, Connolly, Lamptey injuries?

He is young and exuberant and overstretches a lot. He is also the target for a lot of fairly heavy treatment and hasn't got the physicality of other dynamic players like Traore, Antonio and St Maximumminimum. It was an injury waiting to happen and there will be others.

[Albion] Leeds United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Correct. He needs to justify his constant tinkering with results, starting today. Lose to Leeds and we are all staring down the barrel. Two wins in half a season will be totally unacceptable.

[Albion] Leeds United vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

I think a lot of fans are just baffled/confused/frustrated by the lack on consistency in the line-ups. No one has a clue what our best line up is because it changes every game, even when there aren't injuries or suspensions.

Although, on reflection, if Solly puts them straight out of play, that at least slows down Leeds breaking.

Oh sorry....my fault...you meant Leeds breaking from our inept corners...I agree.

Allardyce is starting to sort out Baggies and Fulham look more dangerous than us.
