As others have mentioned, Thieves Kitchen is ok. Kid-friendly, routine scran, plenty of tellies around. Ticks the boxes (its a Greene King, so you generally know what you're getting).
Last time I went in the Warwick it was an absolute khazi. I'd avoid that one.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Given that I really liked Afterlife and the newly established characters within, I was really looking forward to this. Damn. What a let-down.
It almost blows its whole wad in the opening chase sequence, which is fun. But after that the whole thing just gets bogged...
Wow, this thread spawned further than I thought. Some lively punnage, a sprinkling of advice, and a drizzle of withering disdain. Overall, I think we've all learned something.
So. After perusing a few new strimmers, I have arrived at a conclusion that somebody mentioned earlier, and may...
OK, so with a sunny window this afternoon I decided to give the lawn its first cut of the year. I always begin by strimming the borders first (I have wooden edging), before getting the mower out to finish the job.
Anyway, my Bosch strimmer was being a little BITCH. Every time I started, I'd get...
Its quite obvious what happened.
In the run-up to the Spurs game, Pedro smacked RDZ in the gob. RDZ went back to Italy for that emergency dental surgery (missing the Spurs game). Pedro missed the Spurs game through 'injury', and has not been in the squad since.
It all makes sense.
Agree with all of that. Its NOT just a lack of quality crosses. At his best he is well capable of stroking the ball home from all angles (Newcastle, Forest) as opposed to relying on someone dropping it on his noggin from out wide.
He'll come good again. We've all seen he has the talent, that...
Did well enough there, but primarily in the 3rd/4th tier (with a couple of seasons in the 2nd tier during their halcyon days when Aldridge was the driving force). Hardly a stellar career in the upper echelons after leaving us.
BHA simply don't produce strikers. Never have.
Everyone has a DeBruyne lurking in their skeleton cupboard. I know they were never our players, but we turned down / cancelled trials for Ian Wright and Roy Keane.
Ultimately nobody has a crystal ball and duff calls can be made. At the time I was fairly underwhelmed by Gyorkeres in the...
Agreed. Jordan is a 'guilty pleasure' of sorts as he is at least interesting and opinionated, carries a lot of inside knowledge to back up his assertions, and will challenge other people's opinions robustly if he thinks they're talking bobbins. But he dunnalf love the sound of his own voice.
Yes, because radicalised muslims are well known for teaming up with other European nations in order to launce terrorist attacks. It all makes sense now. Thanks Vlad.
I bloody LOVE guess the attendance!
That game wiled away most of the A1 on the way up to Newcastle a couple of years back as we did our own one. Everyone bunged a fiver in for each round as someone took turns picking out fixtures from the classifieds the previous weekend. Nearest the pin over 5...
Thats a bit of a myth apparently. A few years back I had a windscreen repair guy come round to replace my windscreen after a crack was slowly making its way across. I mentioned to him that I was worried driving home that the whole thing was going to shatter - but he said short of someone taking...
