Big fan.
There was a classic line from Dave in the Winchester in yesterdays episode, talking to Arthur when they were talking about Bond.
"I met Sean Connery once. Before he became Roger Moore" :lolol:
Always love seeing early-eighties London and the motors as well.
Yup, fairly typical its one of OUR reviews which had the never-bloody-happens rarity of a ref for once sticking to his guns. Annoying, but on this occasion correct IMO.
They were both grappling each other before the ball had even been kicked. I think the ref arrived at the correct decision taking the whole incident into account. When they showed the replay, I was fairly certain he was going to stick with his original decision (unfortunately).
In which case pretty much every corner would end up as a pen. Defenders barely look at the ball. Half the time they're just focused on "their man" not getting a clear run at it.
It was six of one half a dozen of the other, dunk was equally culpable. They fouled each other, thus cancelling each other out. Had it happened in our box with a similar situation with us defending a corner and a pen been given, I'd have gone apeshit.
Sadly the Palace filth will survive again courtesy of the utterly hapless bottom 3, aided this time by various points deductions. They've been stinking out the PL for years now, just bumbling on, existing as a dull irrelevance. There must be a collective worldwide groan when one of their games...
Not surprised he was sacked on the spot. Just imagine the pending lawsuit if (god forbid) you had been injured or maimed through his rank buffoonery.
Your life sounds bloody exciting btw. 😮
Oh yeah, clay pigeon shooting too, with buckshot.
The airborne skeets were pretty easy, but when they fired them along the ground (a rutted field), they were absolute b*stards to hit. I was feeling quite cocky after hitting most of the airborne ones, but was brought right back down to earth...
Went to a firing range in Vegas a few years back. Let off a few rounds from a Luger, a Browning and some other semi-automatic I can't remember which. Managed to hit the paper target with each, which was pleasing, but I didn't feel the need to go and shoot up a school afterwards.
I doubt they need to.
Starlizard is primarily used by high-end far east betting syndicates. Thats the clientel - if you're in that game, you'll already be well aware of what Starlizard delivers. It doesn't need advertising.
Advertising for betting companies in stadiums is directed at all the...
Granted. But your analysis on this thread of Barco came across as a little harsh, given he's only been in the country for half an hour.
Although I spend far too much time on here, I don't read every page of every thread, and certainly do not maintain total recall on what every posters opinion is...
The fact that Moder was (in effect) playing up front for most of the game whilst Fati stayed on the bench reading the programme showed where he is with us atm. With still no Pedro you'd think he'd have been involved today, but sadly, he's been a chronic letdown.
My comment was in semi-flippancy, but the fact remains that he IS a kid playing on the other side of the world for the first time in his life, at the very highest level. I'm sure he, RDZ and the coaches are well aware of where he needs to improve - of course he's being evaluated. Its in the...
There was one in a layby on the westbound A272 just outside Billingshurst the other day. Couldn't see the brand, but it was a decent size and didn't look overly stained yet.
Sky have had such a massive HARD ON for this game, they've been "previewing" it every feckin news report for over a week. Hilarious that most of the EFL stuff they've been "lumbered" with over the break has been far more entertaining than this utter dreck. I've spent most of it in the garden...
