There are degrees in everything .... what Anne Robinson said was an attempt at humour but it obviously missed the mark with a lot of people (the Welsh) who were offended. It is the sort of remark that I could envisage making myself but without any intention to offend. Perhaps in 10 years time...

And I should have added that, as per their take over over One Stop, they intend running the acquired stores as small stores (Tesco Express) rather than using teh sites for expansion. I notice that the One Stop in Queens Road has closed though.
