Agreed. Absolutely horrible challenge from Kermorgant and looked completely premeditated. Can't believe it wasn't a red card.
Gutted about Rosenior. He was so good for us when fit last season. At least we've acted quickly and signed another full back option.
Agreed. The four you mention are decent as wide options. Knockaert is the best finisher so logically should be the number 10 as they will get the most chances.
If we go for March and Skalak on the wings, I might go with Skalak on the right too having thought about it. If Skalak can cross on his...
Once everyone is available, I think it will be March on the right, Skalak or Murphy on the left and Knockaert in the number 10 role behind Murray. Knockaert already has 3 goals this season and is possibly our best finisher (along with Murray). Makes sense to me.
Yes, so more than a fifth of the league. I don't agree with that anyway. I think we still have enough to expect a top six finish. However, I'm just saying it wouldn't have been such an over the top statement and I wouldn't have bothered to reply.
Anyway, we will see. I think we will regret not...
Zamora and Hemed rarely played together and Baldock rarely scored last season so we've not lost much there. I agree the league is stronger and if you said we'll do well to push for the play offs, I would have said fair enough. It's the negativity of saying we'll be lucky to finish mid table that...
Yes, agree re Stephens. We need him to work hard and give his all once the transfer window has shut. If it turns out he is sulking, our chances of challenging will go down.
To be honest, I'm just a bit fed up with the relentless negativity on here and trying to put an alternative perspective.
You weren't 'fooled' as you've been moaning all summer. I don't understand why you bother supporting Albion (if you even do) as you spend so much time criticising them

So yours is a perspective and mine blind faith? So arrogant. Your serious opinion is a team that finished third and has made the following changes this summer will be lucky to finish mid table
Pocoglioni for Calderon
Duffy for Greer
Adekugbe for Chicksen
Hall for Rea
Norwood for Crofts
Murray...
It was the first game of the season and teams take time to bed in. Yes, we didn't take our chances but nor did Derby who could have scored a couple early on. Anyway, we don't need to win at Derby to finish mid table (which apparently we'll be lucky to do according to you). I'm as frustrated as...
What's that got to do with anything? We drew at Derby and, on another day, could have won. Newcastle are the best team in the league. What a pointless post.
We've got a better team than we had for most of the first half of last season. We only signed a fourth striker in November so to say we'll be lucky to finish mid table is ridiculous.
Except if that was true we'd have sold three of our best players. It's frustrating, and I'm as annoyed as anyone on here, but we don't have zero ambition and to say that is embarrassing for you.
Agree. More experience. We may have been interested in Bong had started the season well but, as he's struggled so far, we needed a first choice option and Henry is a risk. Also, if we'd signed a young player, it would have meant there was no point in signing Adekugbe on loan too.
Sorry, so you are saying your club has illegally agreed personal terms with one of our players when there's not been a transfer fee agreed. You might not want to say that.
As for petty, we signed him on a three and a half year contract, which he signed freely, so we have every right to turn it...
Play offs are still realistic and, to be honest, if you look at the money Villa and Newcastle are spending, it's hard to see top two even with a new striker. However, having shown ambition with the Pritchard bid, I'm very disappointed we've not managed to get an alternative over the line...
There's literally no point in arguing with him. He talks complete rubbish all the time. Don't think I've ever seen a sensible suggestion from him.
If we sign a striker later he'll probably see a clip of them scoring with their hand and suggest we've got competition for Stockdale.
