Newcastle fans, as a protest against PPV, started a campaign to encourage donate the money rather than pay the PPV asking price.
I believe I read that Leeds and Burnley fans are doing similar.
Thoughts of a Watford-supporting friend of mine when I suggested that, in a roundabout way, our clubs have done a striker swap:
"You have, without any shadow of doubt, got the better deal. Personally, I’d be sending Murray right back where he came from as he looks good for little more than...
Paddy's Day I'll give you, but the 3-1 still included them getting a penalty, us playing most of the game with 10 men and them having a shot cleared off the line at 2-0, so not 100% as comfortable as the scoreline suggests and certainly not a game I felt comfortable watching!
I would love it if just for once, we absolutely ****ing batter them. No controversy, no bad luck, no repeatedly hitting the post, no conceding against the run of play, no VAR....just nice and simple - everything clicks, we play better and we win comfortably.
Sadly, I've watched this club too...
Couldn't care less about Christmas this year - not likely that I'll be in a position to go home, my partner will probably be in the same position in addition to it being the first Christmas since he lost his Dad (neither of us has seen any of our family in person since Xmas/New Year last year)...
The problem is that a lot of what is passed off as 'banter' these days isn't light hearted fun at all, but is designed solely to be offensive and insulting.
