Just watched the extended highlights on the Albion website. Montoya did a lot more than I'd really noticed say the time. Had a really good game.

And for that later Alzate. So composed in setting up his chances but not clinical with the finish. Just a matter of time I hope.

This one is a different article in fact. The other one posted pre-season was about how Potter could change things here. This one, by a chap this time, is saying that we've done better than our results suggest.
But I do agree - both worthwhile articles!
This analysis was prepared after the Man City game, so out of date, but it shows a very high level of understanding about what has subsequently happened. It also reinforces what we've all seen, but what most of us couldn't quantify in all likelihood...

One fantastic effort on Saturday which was a goal bar a superb save from the keeper.

I think at the moment a lot will be thinking "should pick up three points there", and have misunderstood the fundamental shift that has happened here. We can now fully expect to compete week in, week out with all but the very top sides in the Prem. Amazing change that we've all seen, but not...
He was an incredibly versatile player who played CB and in midfield as I recall. To some extent perhaps his career suffered because he was too versatile. That's where the comparison came from in my head.
Barnes still on 4. One every 178 minutes played. Neal Maupay on 4. One every 174 minutes played. Just saying.
Wood on 4 also. Rashford, Salah close by on 5, Kane on 6. Top is Vardy on 9.

Potter doesn't look for a settled side. He looks for a team to exploit what he sees as opposition weakness and counter their strengths. Form matters I guess, but format is more critical. He'll pick a team based on the opposition. In which case, god knows what he'll do.
However, you have to...
Why are Liverpool fans doing that? You get it in matches in Europe and international games away from the UK - but not often in the Prem. It's terrible to listen to and why are the home fans focusing on booing the opposition rather than encouraging their own team. Horrible stuff - hope it never...
