Trolling or not (and it is noticeable you choose tonight to post and not after our wins this season) you couldn't be more wrong. Last season we were a bit soft but this season we've signed Duffy and Murray and are much better. You can't make a judgement like that in one game and we've generally...
I find that a bit presumptuous. You are basically saying that if your not getting carried away and panicking tonight, you have not supported the club long. Personally, I started supporting the club in 1990 and have been a regular since then and I think the original post is pathetic and attention...
Exactly. If we'd signed Grabban or Mutch, I think the majority on here would have been underwhelmed yet because they sign for Reading you'd think they were the best players in the world. Oxford and Popa, the Romanian international, are more interesting signings but still have no Championship...
We're the same, despite the fact we actually did sign a couple of players (including filling the one position we needed to). People panicking about Reading/Leeds signing players forgetting that we've got a decent gap to both of them currently (as you have).
I'd say it is close. It doesn't matter what Reading do over their next three games, it is over the whole rest of the season. Their next three games are irrelevant in the sense we all have to play each other twice but some people (not you in fairness) are just focusing on next three games. It's...
It is close to hysteria. They can't catch us at the weekend despite having played two games more. To add to that, their next three games are easy while it is ignored that they still have all the top teams to play except Derby.
I am not saying they won't catch us, I just think there is a bit of...
Yes. People were getting carried away this time last week. Since then Reading have won two games (and held on against Fulham last Tuesday) and it seems we might as well give up. Very odd.
And then look at their next games. Us, Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds in next seven games with Huddersfield to play in a rearranged game too. We all have to play everyone twice.
And we have two games in hand. There is no reason to panic yet. Reading have beaten Cardiff at home and are winning away at Birmingham in the last week. It's not like they've beaten two top six teams.
Hard to see the autos. Not only were they 12 and 14 points behind us and Newcastle at the start of the night but there's also a number of teams in a better position to take advantage if either of us slip. So you are gambling on winning the play offs and no player can guarantee that.
I wonder if...
Except theirs will have cost about £20 million in transfer fees, plus they will still be paying what I assume would be exorbitant wages for Fletcher however poor he is, while ours cost about £5 million (maybe slightly more) and most of that was from Murray's fee today.
They also have Nuhui and...
Agree Bruno is the key loss. Wonder if we'll start with Akpom or Hemed up front alongside Murray on Thursday, assuming Baldock is still out.
However, don't agree re Pocog. Think he is better than Bong, especially as we've not seen him get a run in the team for more than two games and he will...
It is bizarre. How do you keep Fletcher, Hooper, Rhodes, Forestieri and Winnall happy. Surely you can only play two from the start and two on the bench surely.
He should be. Looked brilliant for West Ham at start of last season but not much since. He needs a good loan spell so it is still a bit of a gamble from Reading.
