Question for runners: IT band syndrome

I use a rolling pin and start right at the top of the hip and roll it down to the knee. Really, really, really hurts (using a rolling pin probably add to it:dunce:) but it's really sorted me out on the 2/3 occassions I've had it. I only needed a few days rest before resuming again.

Would you go into 'town' to watch any old sporting event, live?

Isn't Calshot small but very steep sided? I think its supposed to be a (no pun intended) steep learning curve on there as far as track cycling goes

    Sleep paralysis

My mate had it once - he said he saw a shadowy figure enter the room and then pin him down. He was unable to move or speak. Sounds horrible!

Would you go into 'town' to watch any old sporting event, live?

I can remember circuit races in the town centre on a couple of occasions during the early 90's. One used part of the steine before heading east on Marine Parade then left into (i think?) Madeira Place then a little bit down St James St, up George St then down Edward Street to complete the lap...

Speeding Fines & 3 Points on Licence

I've just renewed my insurance and picked up 3 points a few months ago - I asked what effect it had on the premium and, for me, it was only an additional £12

Brighton Marathon - Post Race Thread

They've revised the results recently - seems to add a couple of minutes to most people's chip time 3:54:55 for me Only 7,500 starters in the end - 4,500 didn't make the start. Getting to start ok is the hard bit. The 26.2 miles in comparison is fairly straightforward
