What is going on at the club, we have more secret doors and rooms than your average masonic lodge...do you swipe to get in or roll up your trouser leg, bear your left nipple and give a strange handshake to a doorman?
I have been to a couple, admittedly not in the UK, where they held the home fans in the ground and got the away fans away as quickly as possible. This makes it really easy to identify anyone who has trouble on their mind as they aren't heading for home before the locals hit the streets.
4. His mum dressed him to go to the game, she thought that all football matches were the same and he would probably feel out of place wearing anything but a football top, blissfully unaware that he would be publicly ridiculed on a chat forum.
That is a real rivalry, Crawley and Horsham hate each other, if I were a Crawley fan living in Horsham I would keep my head down and try not to attract too much attention.
I have watched the goal from about eight different angles, looks better each time...so glad for OGH to score the first home goal at the AMEX and lift a cup for the club.
Fair point, I didn't make our fans united game due to being several thousand miles away, but did go to a similar event in aid of Clydebank a year or so later. However, travelling to and from a game in Dumbarton from my home in Edinburgh resplendant in the stripes was something of an...
Probably less friendly from the Crawley fans, many of whom still think the Albion failed to share the gate receipts fairly after the cup game all those years ago...on reflection they are probably spot-on with that assessment!
Nice idea, but I reckon that a minute's applause might be more appropriate. You would do well to keep over 20k people quiet for five seconds on such a momentous day, let alone a minute...many of them will have been making the most of the full range of alcoholic products on offer for some time...
How about a Porto shirt, they play in blue and white stripes. I have definitely worn a Western Province rugby shirt to an Albion game, although the stripes go the other way and I don't even like rugby, I only bought it because it was blue and white!
I reckon Crawley will do fairly well next season, not sure of them going straight up as champions but reckon they are a fair bet for at least the play-offs. Exeter went straight from Conference to Division One in consecutive seasons and having seen Crawley last season I think they are at least...
I would agree with this to a degree...foreign league teams are OK in my opinion, if they are blue and white stripes then all the better, or an international shirt paying homage to an Albion player...though personally I wouldn't wear international colours for anyone I wasn't qualified to play for.
Stayed in the Ibis in Montmartre...it wasn't posh or in a particularly good area, our room was on about the eleventh floor and the lift only went up to something like seven...but, the view across the Paris skyline to the Eiffel Tour was magnificent.
It does indeed, I managed to get it on the west coast of France as far south as Arcachon, which is west of Bordeaux. There will probably be someone who has managed to get it further south, just to give you an idea of the range you can achieve, R4LW is of course perfect for keeping up with the...
I would suggest that is a reasonable guide, though I might suggest a little younger on the age at 12...but on the height, it would mean that the likes of Tiny Cox and Leon Knight only being asked for their autograph by toddlers!!!
I am well into my 40's and think it would be a bit strange to...
Maybe it is just in place so the players don't have to keep going into the stand to get balls back if they practice on the pitch...as of course it will be full with people when games are being played, who can do the fetching and throwing for them!
