Will the current NSC stay live for a period during switchover? So, you know, I can work out how to contact you when I inevitably leave it till after to work out my login details :p
I'm not sure what to make of being able to watch every away game now we're in the premier league - it's great to be able to see every Albion game but at the same time it means we see a lot more poor performances or games where we are under the cosh, which colours our opinion of the team.
I...
I don't think last night is really one to judge, I think Ryan would have made all those saves and probably the Loftus Cheek one much more comfortably - Sanchez dived early and his long legs saved him.
I think Sanchez is in the side more for his height and presumed ability to claim crosses and...
It seemed to be crying out for two strikers, and Maupay would have scored that welbeck chance I'm certain.
Didn't lose, eventually coped with their press and got control of the game - but somehow didn't score again.
Constant changing of the side is stopping people getting into good runs of...
I'm hoping to see him strike up a good partnership with his smaller, nippier strike partner. Hopefully he'll be able to create chances for them as well as taking his own. His work rate has impressed me so far. Like all strikers he will have games where he is shackled but overall its looking like...
Only really defenders in the sense that Bissouma is a defender, yes defensive work to be done but the mistakes made are minor relative to the attacking benefits we're getting from playing him and Lamptey ahead of Burn and Veltman. Their goals and assists versus goals conceded from their...
Correct. However the wing backs in our system aren't really defenders anyway, and when defenders have played there - Veltman, Burn - they have looked really limited offensively. We've got four goals this season from those positions if I'm not wrong.
Yes, to be worked on, and yes, I'm not saying there isn't an underlying issue at set pieces. But for me that goal was the set piece equivalent of a 30 yard screamer into the top corner and we wouldn't get pages of self flagellation about those. That's all really.
No, i don't think I am right now, although the current application of VAR does piss me off. What I love is following the journey of a team, so I am enjoying this current journey of changing style and blooding youngsters and see every setback as just steps on that path. I loved the first three...
If every situation could be defended against there would be no goals in football at all. Yes it's right to review every goal conceded and work to improve how we defend it, but its not right to use every goal conceded as another reason to bash our team and coaches.
That goal didn't happen...
I don't think we should add Southamptons goal to the list of set piece woes because it was an absolute cracker of a header and the type of goal that all teams will concede at various points. Excellent corner, perfect movement and an absolute bullet of a header into the top corner. Just applaud...
