No, but I was working in a petrol station at Cuckfield in the mid 80s when Mark Knopfler came in and filled up, didnt recognise him until he handed over his Amex card and I saw the name. He asked me for directions to Hellingly, but I didnt know the way.
Yes, I was there too, as a 16 yo schoolboy, went up by train with a group of mates. Loads of Albion fans there, something like 8000/9000.
No. 1 all time best match for me.
It seems incredible these days that an FAC 5th round match on a Sunday had no TV cameras. I didnt see the goals for...
I have had Sky HD on a 42" plasma since the World Cup. Superb picture, worth the money imho. If you like live football just about all the matches (incuding BBC FAC) are broadcast in HD, the clarity is awesome, you can see the blades of grass, you would easily recognise somebody you knew in the...
I am I the only one who noticed Gordon Brown picking his nose and eating the bogeys live on TV during Prime Ministers Questions just minutes before he made the budget speech?
Good news for me - My £50 a year car tax will now cost only £35, I ditched my gas guzzling espace last year.

Sorry mate. I have been too busy looking after my uncles friends sisters pet rabbit while she is on holiday, because it has a nasty bout of toothache and a gammy paw. It should be in the post to you by wednesday week. Thanks again for purchasing from Devon Sex Toys Ltd.

Cheers, there must be more info than that somewhere. The Red Arrows dont crash too often in front of massive crowds as far as I know! It must have been quite a big news story at the time, and surely video of the crash exists somewhere.
Theres a documentary on about the Red Arrows on BBC HD at the moment. Sky 145. It has reminded me of something.
I am sure that as a boy, in the mid to late seventies, I can remember going to Brighton to watch a Red Arrows display over Brighton Beach, when to the shock of everybody watching, one...
