Yes my first ever concert I went to, was at Woburn Abbey as well, have it on cd if anyone is interested, also have a couple of tracks with them and Clapton, Sultans, Layla and Wonderful Tonight

No, but I was working in a petrol station at Cuckfield in the mid 80s when Mark Knopfler came in and filled up, didnt recognise him until he handed over his Amex card and I saw the name. He asked me for directions to Hellingly, but I didnt know the way.

Got to agree with that. Saw them at the Rainbow, on the final "homecoming" date of the 1979 World Tour. Was supposed to be a celebration. I nearly fell asleep.

Until Phil Lynott came on as a special guest for the encores and changed everything - but that was him, not Dour Straits...
