I think the city game might be trickier than expected. I've heard that city have been playing okay and have now sorted out their defensive problems - but just have not been getting the points they deserve.
Vaccination is not the winning ticket, but it might be in the future. Cattle vaccination is not going to be 100% effective and at present it will stop our ability to detect infected cows.
It is nothing to do with cost as the government is spending millions on research and vaccine development...
I think people should leave the discussion of science to the experts. People want black and white answers but the scientific evidence for TB control is far from that. Something needs to be done now, and the vaccination idea is a long way off being a viable option at present.
Certainly don't...
My favourite memory of kuipers was when he played on in goal at the withdean after dislocating his shoulder or some other nasty arm injury. He was the very image of bravery and courage that day and had played a blinder in goal. Also very thankful for his great performances away to bristol city...
I think it opens up a massive can of worms. The reviews of the 'blades' were mixed, one showed that he did get an advantage as the design of the blades did actually give him more spring and recouped more energy than human legs, but the second review challenged this and found that the benefit was...
Love his music but don't really like the person or any of his ideas on the world. I guess he must have crafted his idea of what the british people think while hanging around hollywood with sean penn.
Common as mook - you might not be aware that poyet pissed off norwich fans by saying that norwich weren't the best team in the championship last season and going on about how good leeds were!! I think poyet is great but comments like that are just stupid and get up fans noses like pardew did to us.
Cape town and Stellenbosch are nice - but its not really africa is it. I'm lucky as when I pop over to visit the wifes family we stay around their home bordering the Kruger and its a 'wild' experience every day around there....although the malaria risk is a pain, so remember to take your...
The Irish study wasn't that well run and so the evidence was flawed. badger culling may work but the big worry is that it will just drive badgers into new 'bovine TB-free' regions. I think most people effected by this just want the government to make a decision and do something as BTB is...
I usually try and catch a game or two at the den with a millwall supporting mate and went up on tuesday for the bristol city game, as I couldn't get a ticket for our promotion game.
I hate to say it, but I saw a guy knocked out at south bermondsey station and a load of racist abuse going on in...
I think I have a good one.
Many moons ago I went to Oz with a mate. I managed to get a job quite quickly and my mate went to the beach with my CV to try and get ideas on how to rework his. The CV got blown away by a gust of wind and my mate thought nothing of it.
Two days later I got a phonecall...
Blimey - I don't think redhill is that bad!!
It is a little chavvy - but its not as dirty and in a poor state of repair of many other towns. In fact the st johns area is lovely. Those reviews of the bad pubs in redhill are correct but the same crowd can be found coming out of the market hotel in...
Me and mates have managed to cover quite a few bundesliga games in different stadiums over the years, but my favourite was Koln, followed closely by little ol freiburg. I always find the games miss the prematch atmosphere outside that english games can have, but once you are in the stadium and...
Well I know we do export something to china that is worth quite a lot to the chinese, and that is scientific expertise. The chinese work very hard to bring our experts over there and certainly value our contribution - so its not a completly one way relationship.
