Took a Swedish friend to his first panto on Saturday - John Barrowman and the Krankies in Aladdin. 'Jimmy' Krankie taking off Subo and Lady Gaga was mildly amusing - but my pal thought it was all great.
I suspect the sight of Neuschwanstein in the snow would melt most people's hearts. There are plenty of bus trips from Munich.
Otherwise a trip to a lake - the S Bahn goes to Starnberg, or the Bavarian train line to Tegernsee.
