Had a right shock at our local panto last night when the genie in Aladdin crept up behind the leading man and bum raped him live on the stage.

Its his own fault I suppose....... we did try to warn him.

Any Genie snuck up behind me and I`d lamp him.

Took a Swedish friend to his first panto on Saturday - John Barrowman and the Krankies in Aladdin. 'Jimmy' Krankie taking off Subo and Lady Gaga was mildly amusing - but my pal thought it was all great.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..

Have just booked 4 tickets for Alladin in Worthing. I try to avoid the Worthing pantos because they have about as much class as Jordon, but the more classy Cinderella is all booked up on the dates we have available. And yes I find them mildly irritating and would rather go to a nice musical, but hey ho it is Christmas!

I love them - our local one is a repository for old jokes that still remain funny - the target audience (4 - 10) are usually convulsed by them and the grown ups cannot help be drawn into the general jollity. Favourite from last year was the legendary "when I nod my head you hit it..." routine.

Did actually go to a panto with a group of grown ups for a 30th birthday treat for someone - Cinderella at Horsham 1999/2000 with Melvyn Hayes as buttons. We all loved.

My mum took my nephews to see it the other day. Enjoyed it very much especially when the dames wig fell off!
