IF you have missed this (first two episodes were on BBC Four a few days ago - and can be seen here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00y4z22). Danish Crime Thriller with sub-titles about the killing of a girl in a forest. Really impressive start so far. If you liked Wallander (the Swedish version) you'll love this. Apparently 20 episodes covering the 20 days as the investigation develops. Dark, moody, atmospheric - I loved it.

Splendid. Got it on the V+. Looking forward to it.

Could you post the comments for the next 15 episodes and I can go straight to the end?

No, I meant it. I'm not sure I want to go through 19 hours of subtitled TV before I get to the end.

Sorry  I thought you was having a dig! Yeah I know what you mean I don't like subtitled movies myself its going to be hard going but I will give it a couple of episodes to see if it grips me!

Well this thread didn't do very well. The Guardian have got 19 pages on last week's episode alone.

So who do we think did it ?

It's pretty much all i think about. I still have strong doubts over Troels. The untitled-girlfriend and i will be buying nibbles and some special alcohol to sit through the dramatic last two parts.
PS - I don't read the Guardian.

I'm wondering about Troels. The latest revelation with the kid in the cellar (being careful here for those who haven't caught up yet) could point that way.

One of the best TV dramas I've ever watched.

Me too. Brilliant stuff. My wife and I have been absolutely hooked, so glad 2 more series bought by BBC. And Rie, well she could be my political advisor anyway! Phwoar!!! ;)

Ps it's the major who did it. Only person bar Sarah Lund whose not been accused!

I tipped Toels Hartman's advisor (the bloke not Rie) in the first episode. HAsn't come back to him yet, but I reckon it might.

Utterly brilliant TV - and has had a lot of coverage in all the nationals that I have read. If you've missed it, you have missed a treat.

Mrs TRHK in Geneva until tomorrow - so have been saving episode 18. Then 19 and 20 to conclude everything on Saturday (although will probably watch it on Sunday night).

Come on then - what Danish snacks and drinks could we get in for The Killing double episode finale?

Can't bring myself to drink Carlsberg. So what beers should I get?

If you haven't watched episode 18 yet, you'll probably need something stronger than a beer.

I hear in Denmark they often chew on cheese-covered walrus tache-hairs, so i'll be heading to my local Waitrose today or tomorrow. Excessively fresh ones, i have read, are still too warm and the cheese fails to cling as it should.

I have suspicions of both the father and the Herman Munsteresque police chief too.
