The 10% thing is rubbish, there's NO leeway in UK law. The guidelines for fining you are around 10% over the limit, but the fact is that if you're doing 1mph over the speed limit then you've committed an offence and can be done for it if the police choose to do so.
All I remember about the last one was that it was tedious and went on for about 6 months. To be honest, I don't really recall the details of many of them bar the odd match here and there - Sri Lanka beating Australia in 1996, the tied Australia/South Africa semi in 1999 and the farcical...
I didn't realise that was still going - I used to use Lynx back in the days of dial up.
Anyway, this really should be a multiple choice poll as most people probably use more than one. I use Firefox and IE at work, Safari on my iThings, Opera on my mobile and Konqueror on my PC.
Sally Taylor is BBC South, there is a separate BBC South East. If you're on digital satellite then you should have BBC South East in the programme listings (I used to watch it through the satellite when I lived in Scotland), if you go through an aerial I think you need to go off the Heathfield...
BBC South don't cover us for the simple reason that Brighton isn't in their region. East Sussex is covered by BBC South East, who do cover the Albion reasonably.
Reading 5 Albion 1 in 2005 for me. Freezing cold day, identikit ground in the middle of nowhere, Oatway scored an own goal, Gary Elphick was sent off on his only 1st team appearance, Kitson scored 3. Someone spewed on the train on the way back and stank out the carriage.
I know there's the argument that you need to play against the best to improve, but I really can't see that Kenya or Canada getting an absolute beasting is going to do them any good whatsoever.
When they qualified for the UEFA Cup a few years back they did it through the Intertoto, but when they got into the Europa League last season it was through league position.
Yep, that's how Liverpool qualified this season. Chelsea and Manchester United (domestic cup winners) qualified for Europe through their league positions. The League Cup winners place therefore went to 6th in the Premier League (Villa), and the FA Cup place went to Portsmouth. Portsmouth...
Wigan don't historically have massive support. It's worth bearing in mind that 15 years ago they were a 4th tier side averaging less than 2,000 in the league.
