He seemed to be off the scene quite soon afterwards.
Guess the FL weren't impressed by his claim that the old song "Who's the winker in the black?" was racist.

I think that's a little harsh. He initially called it right, but trusted his linesman. His mistake was trusting his assistant, not with any application with the laws of the game, imo. This season, I'd say the ref for rochdale was worse since he himself made the decision to wrongly award a penalty, going against the laws of the game. But I doubt either are the worst ever at withdean.

Prosser is the clear winner, but there have been plenty over the years. Was it Joe Ross that sent Gary Hart off (against Wimbledon I think) just for getting elbowed in the head?

I think most fans agree it was Prosser. The Bournemouth game was down to the linesman,1 with not being in line with the said handball.2 Not seeing it was outside the area and I don't think anyone who watched the video replay can say hand on heart who actually touched the ball,it looked like a bare arm touched the ball and Tommy Elphick wore a blue long sleeved shirt under the team shirt....so Prosser worst Ref and the linesman at the Bournemouth game the worst lino....but having said that,I'm sure somebody will correct me...was it not the same lino at the Portsmoutn game...no contention there then!
