Lee Bryant who is a first year scholar with us played at centre back for my year in school and was absolute quality when he played. Looks to be doing well with the youth team at the moment so hopefully he may earn a pro contract in a years time.
Play Sunday League in Division 6. But it looks like it will be lower next season after a winless first year for myself in my first season in mens football. Anyone know a good team in a similar division that is looking for players?!
Full credit to Doug he is clearly trying extremely hard to gain a new contract. I have a feeling he may get a short term deal if he carries on making the bench and impressing in the reserves.
I agree. Mayo is still a decent left back and although he isn't outstanding at what he does, he does the job required and deserves a new deal. He's played 30+ games this season proving that Wilkins values him as we have Sam Rents and Bakayogo who can play there as well.
As much as i'm fed up of only seeing us win about a quarter of the games I see, I will most likely renew for next year. Although it does depend on how much the tickets rise by. The club should at the very most freeze the prices they were for this season as 5 home wins out of 20 in League One is...
To be fair to Doug Loft, he didn't do anything wrong when he came on (not that I noticed). Although whether he should have been included in the squad ahead of Frutos and Hart who are both better is debatable.
I don't understand Wilkins reluctance to play Hart, Frutos and possibly even Sam...
I was looking at the dugouts for the last 5 mins in hope that Wilkins would throw on Doug to add some attacking flair to the side, but to my disappointment he didn't
Ours was cancelled yesterday which was a total relief as we would have got absolutely thrashed as we were playing the Spread Eagle who are top. Needless to say we are bottom with just 2 points this season.
Really good result Albion. By the sounds of it we thoroughly deserved it and i'm really thrilled for Dean Wilkins and the players as it seems finally our efforts are being rewarded. Perhaps the best result of the season? It could possibly be.
Just seen the score for the first time since half time. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :albion: :albion: :albion:
