For all you nit-pickers out there

This is a ridiculous idea. Those of us who actually bother to spell things correctly are left wondering why we're bothering. It's not a case of language evolving; it's a case of laziness and poor spelling!

    Barack Obama's Berlin speech

And herein lies the problems. His imagery, delivery, speaking voice etc - all excellent. But does he actually have any policies? The media in the U.S. are in love with Obama and fawn over him at every opportunity. Trouble is, that makes them look stupid as they're not doing their job of...

    Barack Obama's Berlin speech

One of the things which concerns me most is his inability to hold a position. I've seen countless examples where he has said one thing, then later made a completely opposite statement. It's not possible to trust someone who cannot be consistent. It becomes obvious that they are saying...

    Barack Obama's Berlin speech

How is that relevant? Bush is not running.

    Barack Obama's Berlin speech

He is getting a reputation over here of being a flip-flopper, not holding consistent positions, and basically being constantly manipulated and controlled by his backroom staff. Not a good sign! He has also made several speeches and comments which show he is not in possession of all the facts.

    Crude oil prices falling sharply

Yes, it is. A year ago it was closer to $2.80 a gallon. Someone else can do the maths :)

    Crude oil prices falling sharply

Here in the U.S. prices have gone from $4.06/gallon to $3.87 in the last few days. I know the maths is different but from a percentage view it's still a drop.

US: Man kills 'burglars'. Jury: Not Guilty

Hey I'm not saying the previous government was entirely blameless, but it has got worse under Labour. Do you remember many of these problems, as frequently and as bad, ten years ago? I certainly don't. But I guess we'll get to find out in a few years once the Tories have been in power again :)

US: Man kills 'burglars'. Jury: Not Guilty

Plenty, but we'll come back to that, as we are wandering off the point slightly here. I don't think you can necessarily trust figures, wherever they come from. I think though that we have a problem with lack of respect and this mostly comes from a too soft approach to crime. That is the point...

US: Man kills 'burglars'. Jury: Not Guilty

Excuse me? You really believe this government isn't the most corrupt administration in recent memory? If so then your get a life comment is sadly misdirected.

US: Man kills 'burglars'. Jury: Not Guilty

And don't believe everything the government portrays..... especially this current government which is so desperate they'll massage and manipulate figures and statistics to make everything look good.

US: Man kills 'burglars'. Jury: Not Guilty

Well, our current softly-softly liberal methods clearly aren't working are they. What with rising knife crime and lack of respect by teenagers (and others) etc.

US: Man kills 'burglars'. Jury: Not Guilty

That's because the liberal bleedin' hearts brigade always jump up on their high horse about how the poor burglar's human rights have been violated, or some crap like that.

US: Man kills 'burglars'. Jury: Not Guilty

These two guys shouldn't have been on his neighbour's property. Were they trespassing and there illegally? If the answer is yes, they should have absolutely no claim whatsoever and they lose their "human rights" in this case as a result of being on the property. Unfortunately (or...

Yeah I am sure I could go into more detail. When I run for political office, I will do so :)

    Littlejohn, remarks re Harriet Harman.

This sort of discrimination is just plain wrong. Employ someone on the basis of their skills, experience, job history, attitude, whatever. But DO NOT EVER consider/discount someone because of their race, sex etc. But what should we expect from this sham of a government. Mind you, the...
