Ok the deal is that you can remove it and then replace it without any problems (as in medicine man's case) but the thermal compound layer which transfers heat between the CPU and the heatsink can be easily damaged and not function quite as well as it should. I've had cases where that layer is...
Don't remove the CPU fan unless you really have to - it is very easy to mess up the thermal material that sits between the CPU itself and the heatsink/fan.
The only downsides are that it will do MOST of what MS Office does, not everything. I've found a couple of fairly minor things it won't do, but they in the todo list for it.
Some parts of OpenOffice are also more resource-hungry than MS Office (i.e. it'll use a lot more memory and processor...
Kids have too many rights as it is, without this crap.

We've been over this before. Brighton v Luton.... well.... one of them is a crapheap excuse for a town etc etc etc. No-brainer really.
