This was being reported in Ecuador because we've allegedly got a full complement of foreign players; however, Ryan today departed.

Panini stickers meant that I knew the birthplace and height of every division one player, in 1986. Rocastle? Lewisham. Shilton? Chester-le-Street. But that was just data gathering and a lack of other books to read.
I'd say complete emotional absorption would have been 1993-1998, taking in our...
It's interesting that we were in for Martinez in the summer, which means a new goalie had been identified as requirement too, along with the new striker. Which means, both acquisition failures can explain the increased goals conceded and failed conversions, and therefore no shock to the club...
Yeah sorry, I guess I didn't explain that at all - I meant actual versus historic data. I would assume that the club statisticians look at the historic xG for /against based on last season's data (or longer) and understand the range/height of the variance/error bar and its confidence (ie best...
Interesting. So, basically, we're conceding more goals in-game than we should be, and we're chronically missing in-game chances at the other end. I think the board recognised this in the summer, and can only think that had we signed Darwin Nunez, we'd be pushing for a comfortable top half...
If this is to take into account the frame update rate challenge of the current majority of TV cameras used to capture the VAR frames, (when the ball was struck /where the players were at the time), and 10cm is the accepted margin of error, then makes sense to me. Given that a lino can't look in...
We just invested in a Google nest wifi mesh network. It's brilliant, worth every penny, fast wifi stretching right to the very back of the garden (and probably beyond).

Here's the IFAB explanation on the rule change:
Explanation
Greater clarity is needed for handball, especially on those occasions when ‘non-
deliberate’ handball is an offence. The re-wording follows a number of principles:
• football does not accept a goal being scored by a hand/arm (even if...
Actually, I don't believe that's correct, and the IFAB rules don't state that. If you're a ref, reffing a Championship game, where no VAR is available, and you spot an accidental handball in the build up to the goal, and you then allow the goal to stand, then you would be knowingly misapplying...
It's more perverse than that. An accidental handball, by an attacker, that doesn't lead to a goal, is not a free kick. One that does, is.
IFAB:
Handball
Law 12
Changes
• Deliberate handball remains an offence
• The following ‘handball’ situations, even if accidental, will be a free kick...
